Sopwell House

Sopwell House near St Albans in Hertfordshire was acquired in 1986. At the time, the beautiful Georgian house - once the home of Prince Louis of Battenburg and Princess Alice - had just 30 bedrooms. It has since been extended and improved to 4 star standards, with 129 bedrooms, including 16 self-contained Mews apartments, as well as a purpose-built conference centre and full leisure facilities.
