Five Lakes Hotel, Golf, Country Club & Spa was purchased in 1994 and underwent a major refurbishment upgrading it into a quality 4 star hotel. 2003 saw further investment with the addition of a contemporary 80-bed complex called The Village. The hotel is one of the few hotels able to cater for large banquets and parties in Essex and has been the location for many key local and national events.
