Afternoon Tea

If you're looking for something special to enjoy with friends, why not try our delectable Afternoon Tea? Whether you're seeking the classic experience in our stylish and cosy Cocktail Bar & Lounge, or a light and bright afternoon in our elegant Restaurant, both are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.

The afternoon tea tradition originated in the early 1800s from Anna, the 7th Duchess of Bedford. Tea was served with bread and butter in the afternoon to avoid hunger between lunch and dinner. This practice then became a British norm which then saw the inclusion of fancy pastries, sandwiches and scones with clotted cream and preserves.

Our traditional Afternoon Tea features a selection of sandwiches, freshly baked scones served with Devonshire clotted cream and Strawberry preserve. A variety of afternoon tea pastries and your choice of luxury Twining's tea or coffee are also included. To complement our delicious Afternoon Tea you can also enjoy a glass of our House Champagne.

The above is served on a tiered stand in either our Cocktail Bar & Lounge or The Restaurant (although spa guests in robes must have their Afternoon Tea in our Conservatory). Special dietary requirements can be accommodated including gluten-free Afternoon Tea or dairy-free Afternoon Tea.

£22.50 per person for Afternoon Tea / £29.50 per person for Champagne Afternoon Tea
