Sopwell House is situated opposite Verulam Golf Course - a challenging par 72 course, 6429 yards from the White tees which offers a challenging but fair test of ability. Verulam is a mature course renowned for its small, fast and undulating greens and provides a tough challenge even to the experienced golfer. There are also many other superb local golf courses in the area including Porters Park, 10 minutes down the road in Radlett. Set in 200 acres of woodland, Porters Park is a mature and challenging golf course and has been selected six times as a regional qualifying course for the Open Championship.
