It has been described as "London's very own Eden Project, right on our doorstep"
Butterfly world is a 27 acre site, shaped like a giant butterfly's head.During 2011 a 100 metre diameter biome will open and be filled with 10,000 tropical butterflies. Before this a tropical butterfly house will display over 500 butterflies to marvel at and prepare us for 2011. Amongst its attractions will be:

- 20 acres of spectacular wildflower meadows
- Butterfly breeding house
- Individual gardens designed by celebrated designer Ian Hicks
