Ensuring the Health and Wellbeing of our Guests

Coronavirus Policy

In light of the current public health emergency created by the spread of Coronavirus, we would like to reassure everyone that the health and wellbeing of our guests and team members continues to be our top priority.

We are taking more precautionary measures, in addition to what we do regularly, as we continue to welcome guests to the hotel.

We are actively monitoring the situation and track advice from the Government and the relevant health authorities. Should there be any significant change in our position we will provide further updates.


Specific measures that we are currently undertaking include:

  • Increased internal awareness of possible threats posed by the outbreak
  • The maintenance of strict internal hygiene and enhanced protocols for the movement and travel of our team members and action planning to minimise any business interruptions
  • An increased level of health surveillance across our business and our supply network
  • An increase in the frequency of cleaning all areas especially high footfall areas and an increased number of hand sanitiser / cleaning stations whilst stock is available.

We believe these procedures should be adequate to prevent any major business disruption or interruption to normal customer service.

My senior leadership team and I are on hand to provide around-the-clock assistance to our team members and are prepared to act swiftly should we be alerted to any incident relating to coronavirus at the hotel.


Free Cancellations – Your Peace of Mind

To give you peace of mind when booking your leisure stay please see our updated flexible cancellation policy, effective from 17th March - 30th June 2020:

You are entitled to cancel or change your booking without charge up to 48 hours before your arrival for overnight stays, spa treatments and spa day bookings.

We have also changed our policy on special advance purchase offers. Whilst they require full pre-payment at time of booking to secure the special rate, these too are able to be cancelled or amended free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival.

Please note that our usual terms and conditions do apply for prepaid events, where a non-refundable pre-payment is required at the time of booking.  For any queries, please contact our reservations team – see number below.


Concerns, Questions and Advice 

If you have any questions concerning your stay with us, please do feel free to contact our reservations department on 01727 864477. All areas of the business, from afternoon teas and Spa days to weddings, private events and meetings continue to operate as normal.

Whilst we are not expecting any change to this, we will inform you personally if the need arises.
